Every child deserves a chance for full life. The child with special needs can be born in every family. In every. No matter what is social status, material abilities, education, nationality, religion, etc. Nothing matters. The child just born and that's it. Special, loved, deserved with a right for happiness.

Dima is a late and very expected child. He was born earlier than he should. Intensive care, a month on artificial ventilation, long rehabilitation. "When he was 5,5 months old he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Now I am calm when I hear these words, but back then it was like a cold shower", the mother is smiling but there is a pain in her eyes. A lot of work has been done so that kid starts to walk. Every 3-4 months Dima is working with the specialists in rehabilitation centers.

A boy is very sociable so when he was 2,5 mother decided to visit the special kindergarten. Dima liked it so much than when it was time to go home he started to cry. War has changed their life. When the situation in Donetsk became extremely tense family fled to nowhere. For more than three years family lived in the center for internally displaced. And even in such conditions mother managed to arrange rehabilitation for Dima.

And not a word about herself, about how hard it is to take care of a sick child, to fight for his health, future. 'Dima is a fighter. Despite he falls down often - he cries rarely and doesn't pay attention to bruises. He went through 4 gypsums. He wears orthopedic footwear and orthoses. We don't want surgery and do our best to improve the situation with rehabilitation courses and exercises at home. ' This year Dima goes to the first class of inclusive school. He wants to go to school, studies hard.

Mother continues to talk about son: "I am sure, that in school among kids he will feel himself comfortable and will stay gentle, kind boy. I want him to enter an adult life as a healthy kid without a status of the child with a disability".
