On June 19, 2023, the dobro.ua site of the "Ignite the Flame of Victory: Recovery and Rehabilitation of the Wounded" project was posted on the website of the "UBB" BO MBF, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the payment of medical equipment in the form of an electromyographic complex for the Regional Clinical Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology.
On the same day, thanks to the support of Vulkan Casino, the collection was completed, and on June 21 we already received the full amount to the Fund's account for the implementation of the project. The equipment was paid for on the same day, but it was necessary to wait for the delivery of the equipment from abroad.
The electroneuromyographic complex was delivered to the "13" hospital in July 2023.
As a result of military operations and shelling, thousands of civilians, military personnel, and emergency service workers receive injuries of various degrees of severity every day. Injuries of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system or spine, as well as craniocerebral injuries require specific treatment and a full course of rehabilitation to restore lost functions. Because it directly affects the future life of a person: not only his physical activity and well-being, but also work capacity, mobility and social adaptation. To improve the quality and speed of rehabilitation of patients, doctors need an electromyograph, a special computerized equipment that can be used to evaluate the functions of the body's nerves and muscles. This allows you to find the place where the lesion occurred, to make an accurate diagnosis in the shortest possible time, to draw up a plan for the necessary treatment and rehabilitation, as well as to make repeated control examinations to diagnose the condition.
