Thanks to the completed collection for the project "Food for the Elderly", we prepared and dispensed 980 additional portions of nutritious food, consisting of the first course (soups, borscht, pickles, kulishi, etc.), the second course and side dish (buckwheat cutlets, pasta with sausages, pilaf, wheat porridge with meatballs, etc.) and bread, cookies and tea with sugar.
For the collected UAH 20,783.00, we were able to purchase the necessary products for cooking lunches (vegetables, meat, cereals, pasta, tea, canned stews, sausages, etc.) and plastic containers (glasses for the first dish, glasses for the second dish and garnish, lids on glasses). We distributed ready lunches in accordance with our delivery schedule, 2 times a week, 1 set of ready meals for 1 ward (for 1 issue we issue 200-250 sets of food) during January 2022. Our events are held in compliance with quarantine conditions, each set is individually packed, the packaging is disinfected, volunteers work in gloves, masks and have vaccination certificates.
