Beyond Limits: The Power of Small Steps

Project goal: payment for medical rehabilitation stays—specifically, an intensive neurophysiological rehabilitation course for David Narkevych and Nikita Narkevych.
During the fundraising process, the project's needs changed. The funds were used to purchase essential medications rather than for rehabilitation (Letter regarding change of purpose No. 08/1 dated August 7, 2026).
David and Nikita are brothers who battle complex chronic illnesses every day; both have disabilities. David is a cheerful boy diagnosed with mixed hydrocephalus and flaccid lower-limb paresis. His brother, Nikita, has cerebral palsy (spastic tetraparesis) and uses a wheelchair. Due to their health conditions, the children rely on a continuous regimen of medication. The state does not cover the cost of certain expensive medications, making it very difficult for their parents to afford them. Yet, for these children, medication is vital—enabling them to grow, develop, and maintain a necessary quality of life.
Thanks to this project and all the donors, we were able to help the family purchase the necessary medications for their children.
