News December 2025

Andriy still lives with his grandmother, and his mother periodically stays at home or at his grandmother's.
Last week, the boy had another seizure, as he is weather-sensitive. At that moment, Andriy kicked the wall, which led to a crack in his right leg. He had to go to the Rudnev Hospital in Dnipro, where his leg was put in a cast.
The situation with food is unstable: he often has nighttime seizures, which keep him awake and make him feel hungry. This makes it difficult to predict the amount of special formula needed for the year, as it is not always possible to calculate the special diet correctly. Andriy starts acting up until he is fed.
At the moment, volunteers have provided the boy with free special food from Resource Junior for a certain period. Treatment remains stable, although the dosage of painkillers has been increased.
Medications that could significantly improve Andriy's condition are too expensive and are not registered in Ukraine. Alternative medications cause many side effects that could harm his health.
