Dear donors! We are happy to announce that the last piece of medical equipment in this project has been purchased and handed over!
A video bronchoscope for older patients is already saving children's lives! This state-of-the-art equipment helps doctors look inside the fragile airways and perform extremely complex operations. The Zaporizhia Regional Children's Hospital provides assistance to young patients from the Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions. These are children with shrapnel and bullet wounds, burns, and severe injuries. Many children are in critical condition. Through a thin optical fiber, an image is displayed on the monitor screen, and doctors can get a complete picture of injuries to the larynx, trachea, bronchi and lungs in children. It is safe to say that the video bronchoscope is the surgeon's eyes. Together with benefactors, we have already handed over one device for the department of newborn babies. Now this equipment is available for working with children from 1 year old.
We thank everyone who became a part of this project and allowed us to purchase expensive equipment for a hospital that saves dozens of small patients every day!
