Ivan is 13 years old. At first glance, he is an ordinary teenager who loves sports and programming. He is in 7th grade, actively trains in the gym, and is growing fast—he is already 176 cm tall!

But behind that smile and those dreams lies his daily struggle. When Ivan was only 4 years old, he was diagnosed with diabetes.

The boy used to have to prick his fingers up to 25 times a day to avoid dangerous spikes in his blood sugar. It was very painful, but necessary. If glucose levels are not within the normal range, the entire body suffers, especially the kidneys, heart, and eyesight.

Now Ivan uses sensors. A small device attached to his body measures his glucose level every 5 minutes and sends the data to his smartphone. Thanks to this, Ivan can exercise, go to school, learn coding, and just be a kid. Unfortunately, one sensor only works for 14 days and is not cheap.

Adolescence is a period when blood sugar levels can fluctuate sharply and dangerously. To survive such changes without risk, Ivan desperately needs Freestyle Libre 2 sensors.
