Take the child to school

The war in Ukraine affected every Ukrainian, but especially children. Some of them were forced to grow up, some lost everything and found themselves far from home. Every child now dreams of communication with peers, a safe environment and a carefree childhood.

Since 1992, the "Caritas-Kyiv" Charitable Fund has been taking care of adults and children in need. The foundation helps them with clothes, medicines, hygiene products, food kits, etc. In our children's center, social workers and a psychologist work with children. Interesting classes, psychological trainings and master classes for different age categories are held here.

Classes will start soon in schools. Crisis, low-income, single-parent, large-child families, internally displaced persons and orphans turned to the "Caritas-Kyiv" Charitable Fund for help: they need to buy and fill school bags. Therefore, we need to collect funds to purchase and form three types of kits for schoolchildren: 50 kits for students of grades 1-4; 50 for grades 5-8 and 25 sets for students of grades 9-11.

We appeal to all concerned people and ask for support and help us buy school portfolios and their fillings. All children have the right to have someone take care of them if their relatives can't do it!

We also have a great partner, Fjallraven, who donates 30 of their own backpacks to our middle and high school students and helps us raise money for school supplies to fill them.
