Health of orphans

Children who are removed from families facing difficult life circumstances often arrive at our Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation with serious health issues: neglected chronic illnesses, underweight, and psychosomatic disorders. The stress of the hardships they endured at home is compounded by the trauma of war, leading to a severe deterioration in their physical condition. Without proper and timely medical intervention, these issues become irreversible, hindering their socialization, education, and overall development.

The souls of these children are deeply wounded by the trauma of betrayal by those closest to them. Every day, our team fights for their future. The condition of many children is the result of years of neglect: allergies, skin diseases, digestive problems, underweight, and weakened immune systems. Their bodies simply lack the strength to fight off even a common cold. They need not just words of support, but medicine to help their bodies heal.

Our goal is not merely to “alleviate their condition.” We want to restore these children’s health so they have the strength to build a happy future. But our resources are insufficient for what matters most – systematic treatment and physical rehabilitation. Without your help, we cannot afford the medication needed to halt the progression of their diseases before it is too late, nor can we pay for a specialist to monitor their condition daily. Together, we can heal not only their bodies but also their souls.
