To live despite everything!

More than a year – and nothing, but medical beds, operations and drop counters. That’s beginning of little Roman’s life: the diagnosis is - congenital biliary atresia - no bile excreted from the body. Then began cirrhosis and chronic liver failure, and hypertension deficiency anemia. The transplantation in Polish clinic was vital! Thanks to you, unbearable for ordinary families, the sum of almost 70 thousands Euros was collected. Operation seemed successful, Roman was even moved to the ward to the family.

And a few days the baby got back to the emergency - stop breathing. The lung infection was found, and now doctors are struggling with it. The clinic has exposed new additional invoice, which must be paid to complete the treatment, because there is another operation needed to close abdominal wall!

Except Romchyk, parents has lovely daughter – 5-years old Sofia.

"I had a smaller brother, so I'm used to that family should be two children not to become discouraged. So I’d like that my daughter had brother too, and the age difference was not big. With my husband, we were very glad when learned that we have a boy "- says mother Olga. However, for more than a year Sofia lives with grandmother and grandfather, and misses her parents and brother. Mom, meanwhile slightly in coming to her after surgery, she gave part of her liver to her child. At first it was very painful, is now easier – there’s nothing impossible to do for her child!

This family has overcome so much and left quite a bit! Just to be cured… Let try to allow the child to grow and develop, enjoying every day: take the first steps, find first friends, then first love, create a family and give birth to healthy babies - just LIVE!

Diagnosis: a primary diagnosis - atresia biliary tract. Biliary cirrhosis. Portal hypertension I-II cent. Deficiency anemia. Wasting. Chronic failure and II degree. At the moment - the state after transplantation of the liver from the mother. (Operation took place 12.01.15) Condition respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest, partial brain death. A year after primary surgery need reconstructive surgery to close bryushnoyi wall. Also require rehabilitation to restore motor skills (probably clinic Kozyavkin)
