Live for the sake of children! 2

Svetlana is bringing up her two kids alone, six years ago they arrived from action area to escape the war. In June of 2020, Svetlana was diagnosed with oncology. During a year of desperate struggle, she underwent 6 courses of chemotherapy, 6 courses of brachytherapy and 25 courses of radiation therapy. Svetlana did not lose hope. However, the last PET CT and tests indicated the disease recurrence… In this connection, she underwent a surgery on 26 June 2021, retroperitoneal lymph nodes and lesser pelvis lymph nodes were removed due to metastases. 

At the moment, Svetlana is prescribed another 6 courses of chemotherapy at the cost of the state. However, medications for preliminary medication preparation, recovery therapy, special needles, examinations, tests must be paid at own expense. Svetlana is a settler from Donbass with two kids. Her husband left them and provides no financial support. Before Svetlana got ill, she worked at print shop to keep the family. Now it is a problem for Svetlana to work. Financial state of the family is extremely bad. They hardly have enough money for bare essentials, not to mention the expensive treatment.

Teenage kids require constant attention and care. The stress they experienced due to the divorce of parents, war, living in foreign cities and studying at different schools and horrible disease of the mother affected the health of Svetlana’s daughter Vika, the girl is attending neurologist. Children understand what threats their mother. Mother’s tender glance, smile and hugs are the most precious gift for them. Mother’s life and health are biggest values for the children, their mother is a whole world, their universe, whose life is so fragile now and is hanged by a single thread. Help to save this life!
