At age 2, Daria was diagnosed with diabetes. Painful procedures, restrictions, a strict diet, and constant monitoring of her blood sugar levels became part of her life. But the disease taught Daria not to give up.

To keep her diabetes under control, Daria needs Freestyle Libre 2 sensors. They help her detect dangerous changes in glucose levels in time and avoid sudden spikes in blood sugar, which can lead to a coma and complications.

Dasha used to practice rock climbing and pole acrobatics, and now she’s passionate about dancing. Training not only takes her mind off her illness and the war but also helps maintain her health.

Due to shelling, the family had to leave Nikopol. But Daria dreams of returning home and walking the streets of her hometown again.
