Life with deafness

In May 2024, the "Life with Deafness" project was posted on the dobro.ua website of the "UBB" Foundation, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for hearing aids for Darina Boshtega (diagnosis - bilateral sensorineural deafness).
Fundraising ended already in June 2024, and we immediately paid for Daryna's hearing aids. Due to the fact that Daryna's family lives in Chernivtsi, and the girl's parents cannot hear either, a trip to see a doctor in Kyiv was planned for August. So on August 3, 2024, Daryna received her hearing aids!
Daria is now 15 years old, the girl will soon finish school and will need to choose a future profession. This is a very important period, and Daryna needs to intensively immerse herself in the educational process, as well as communicate with others, and hearing aids are critically necessary for quality education, development and a full life.
Daryna's previous devices were already very old and did not suit the girl at all, and her parents did not have the opportunity to purchase new ones. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed to the completion of this gathering, now Daryna has no limitations, she can hear.
The delay in reporting occurred due to the delay in receiving the invoice from the clinic.
