The first device was delivered to the Children's City Clinical Hospital of Poltava City Council
Every year, thousands of premature babies are born in Ukraine. They are born too early, sometimes weighing only 500 grams, and immediately face serious challenges that for many become a matter of life and death. Due to imperfect organ systems, these babies cannot breathe on their own, maintain their body temperature or control their heartbeat. Every minute without proper medical supervision is a risk of losing their chance for life.
Bedside monitors allow you to continuously measure vital signs, reacting instantly to any changes. Without these devices, babies who are just learning to live can lose precious time to be saved.
The PVM-4763 monitor we are donating to the hospital is a modern device that provides full control over the baby's condition. It is used to monitor the heart rate, detect disorders and heart failure in time; it allows you to accurately measure the level of oxygen in the blood, which is critical for children with underdeveloped lungs, and helps to monitor changes in pressure to prevent crises. Thanks to temperature sensors, the monitor provides temperature control, which is important for maintaining a stable condition of the baby.
