Roman was born prematurely with an extreme body weight of 750 grams and immediately gave his mother a sign that he wanted to live – he cried, but his strength instantly left him. Then the resuscitators started to fight for the child's life. The parents of such an early bird did everything they could to ensure that their child survived. They lived in a car near the intensive care unit for many months because fear for the child overwhelmed them; they wanted to be as close as possible to the child, whom doctors were constantly trying to bring back to life, and when there was a need to purchase rare drugs from abroad, the parents, with the help of caring people, did the impossible to purchase them and save their boy's life.
After staying in the OKHMATDYT hospital for 4.5 months after the child's birth, the family cried with happiness that they had returned home in full force, believing that the worst was over. But it turned out differently. As time went on, the boy grew up, and more and more new diagnoses appeared. Eventually, hospitalizations began, the child has already undergone 3 surgeries, and 2 more surgeries are planned in the future. But despite all this, Roman tries to play with toys with his mother, develop, visit rehabilitation centers, and try to fulfill the requirements of specialists to improve his condition.
At the age of 2.5, the child took his first steps, and now the parents continue to work on improving their boy's gait and teaching him new skills. In addition to many concomitant diagnoses, the child has cerebral palsy, severe mental retardation, and Dandy Walker variant anomaly. His mother's heart is breaking because their family is not financially able to attend rehabilitation in the desired number, but thanks to the support of caring people, the parents' faith in their son does not fade for a moment. Fortunately, Roman's condition is improving. Of course, it is not so rapid, but the boy is trying hard – now he is already trying to eat with a spoon with the help of his parents, and his attention span is improving.
The child's parents believe that there are people in the world with good hearts who have the ability and desire to help their child, so they ask to join in raising funds for their son's treatment.
