A life full of sounds for Veronika

Veronika was born a perfectly healthy girl. But at the age of 2.5, the child became very ill, had a high fever for a long time, and at some point Veronika's mother began to notice that her daughter was not responding well to spoken language. Veronika recovered, but still stopped responding to her name, so her mother went to the doctors. After an examination, the girl was diagnosed with a hearing impairment and was diagnosed with bilateral chronic sensorineural hearing loss of grade 3.

Since then, the family's life has changed dramatically, and Veronika has been fitted with hearing aids. Sign language, speech therapists, learning and communication difficulties are all part of Veronika's life. Now the girl is studying at the 8th grade of a special school for children with hearing impairments, and her studies are difficult, but she is not lazy, and her teachers praise her for her perseverance and diligence. She is fond of beauty and dreams of becoming a makeup artist.

Veronika's current hearing aids are no longer powerful enough, as her hearing changes throughout her life, and now she needs new, more powerful hearing aids. Her parents cannot afford to buy expensive hearing aids for her on their own, and Veronika really needs them, as she is going to college and has an important stage of independent living ahead of her, for which she needs to prepare.

Hearing aids will help Veronika not only in her studies, but also in becoming a full-fledged member of society. Often people with hearing impairments avoid contact with the outside world for fear of being misunderstood, judged, or bullied, and hearing aids help them hear and understand others, as well as help develop correct pronunciation in the person who wears them.
