Life Goes On. Thanks to You

In April 2025, the project “Life goes on. Thanks to you” was posted on the dobro.ua website, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment for the obstetrics and gynecology department of Zaporizhzhia City Hospital No. 9 for a total amount of 156,237.00 hryvnias.

At our request, funds were allocated from the “Health” Treasury in the amount of 70,200 hryvnias 54 kopecks for the purchase of medical equipment.

In May, the fundraising was completed and on May 19, the hospital received three CM-3 centrifuges and a KN2200i series colposcopy system.

A centrifuge is a laboratory device that separates liquid samples (for example, blood or urine) into their components. This allows you to obtain pure fractions for further analysis.

A colposcope is an optical device that allows a doctor to examine the genitals in detail under magnification. This increases the accuracy of diagnostics and allows for the detection of pathologies (for example, precancerous conditions) at early stages.

The institution had a shortage of this equipment, but in just 8 months of operation (since the establishment of the department), more than 1,000 women received inpatient gynecological care here, 584 babies were born, and almost 35,000 women received outpatient care.

Here, they help women who survived evacuation, occupation, and losses. Women from Zaporizhzhia, from the front line, from temporarily occupied territories. Servicewomen who have just returned from the front line. So we sincerely thank everyone who joined this project and made it possible.
