Life for Two
Five-year-old Dima Ovcharenko twice returned from that world. The inability to walk independently is the only thing that distinguishes him from ordinary children. The family was expecting the birth of two boys. Pregnancy has gone extremely hard. Doctors warned that one boy was born with a heart malformation. It was planned that Victoria will give birth in Kiev, but according to medical records, it could not be transported even by sanitation. Both boys came into existence six months in the Kharkov perinatal center.
Both children were born dead. They were resuscitated. The perinatal center began to figure out where to go to the second child because there was a malformation of the heart that was not compatible with life (absence of the left atrium, which is responsible for a large circle of blood circulation, and hypoxia of the aorta). No one wanted to take risks and take the children to surgery because of their weight. Dima spent 7 days in intensive care. The second baby died in 39 days. Every day mother was preparing me for her child to die.
According to Victoria, Dima was very weak, in one year he did not hold his head, the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The child was rehabilitated by the method of Sandakov, to two years he became so strong that he began not only to keep his head, but also took the first steps. However, the boy was diagnosed with heart disease. Urgently it was necessary to solve this problem. Operated in the Amosov Institute in Kiev. They promised that the operation would continue for 40 minutes, but lasted for two hours. Later we learned that Dima had waschemic death. He was reanimated, but he stopped walking.
In spite of physical constraints, intellectual development went even ahead. One year a child spoke.
Victoria refused traditional drug treatment. In her opinion, only human hands can create a miracle. The boy is engaged in exercise therapy, goes to dolphin and hippotherapy. Thanks to constant occupations, it was possible without the help of orthopedic means to correct kyphosis. Victoria believes in a miracle - that the son will be able to walk.
