Romchik has grown, but his weight has hardly changed—just over 38 kg. And every kilogram is a struggle.

Since his surgery, Roman’s life has depended on a special diet and medication. Without them, he loses his strength.

In the summer of 2015, Roman was admitted to the intensive care unit with severe abdominal pain. He underwent urgent, complex surgery, after which a long and difficult treatment journey began.

Since then, Romchik has had a nutrient deficiency. Every month, he receives special intravenous nutrition. In addition to regular food, Romchik drinks a Modulen mixture and takes medication continuously to support his digestive system.

Roman finished 9th grade and moved on to 10th. During his vacation, he visited his grandfather in the village to relax and go fishing. When he has the energy, he plays soccer.
