Warm the border guards-2

Reliability of the southern border of the country is one of today's anxieties of Ukrainians. This anxiety isn't in vain: on the one hand – the flow of information about the increasing presence of troops and military equipment in the north of the Crimea, on the other hand – understanding that this boundary before the annexation of the peninsula of Ukraine didn't exist. The southern border is being built and being strengthen the first time. The hardest load is on Kherson border guards unit which also didn't exist. This explains the difficulties which can be solved with charity help.

In summer the border guards were living in tents, and there was no such a big problem with equipment for the soldiers that couldn't be "solved" by the government. But winter is on the doorstep – winter, which in Kherson steppes is especially unbearable windy. Keeping watch for the border guards if they're cold dressed – each time it's a test of strength and provocative for their health. Where do they live on the border? Where can they warm up? There are different conditions: somewhere – a metal trailer, somewhere (where possible) to adapt the old premises, which are light-supplied, but heating this winter – it is simply impossible.

Fund "Zakhyst" (Protection) is constantly involved in projects of help for border guards, and asks all Ukrainians, reminding them that the southern border is not only the border of Kherson region, but important border of Ukraine. Let's help warm the guards, take care of their warm clothes and the equipment to warm their places of rest! Now for this purpose it is necessary to collect 78 486 UAH.
