Let's warm children from the East!

Considering the grave situation in the country, our charitable foundation pays special attention to foster homes and specialized educational establishments in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone. One of such educational establishments under our care is Artemivsk Educational Complex of the Stanytsia-Luhanska District in the Luhansk region, which is only 800 meters away from the zone of military operations.

Considering the grave situation in the country, our charitable foundation pays special attention to foster homes and specialized educational establishments in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone. One of such educational establishments under our care is Artemivsk Educational Complex of the Stanytsia-Luhanska District in the Luhansk region, which is only 800 meters away from the zone of military operations.

Artemivsk Educational Complex integrates a school and a kindergarten into one general institution. Because of the ongoing military actions and a conflict in our region, the majority of parents lost their jobs leaving families without financial means of support. While studying, children of the educational complex have experienced sleepless nights underground, evacuation, and staying in the bomb shelters.They need the help of people who care for children’s fate more than anyone else.

In 2016 DAR Charitable Foundation bought necessary household items, clothes, toys, and goods for theArtemivsk Educational Complex of the Stanytsia-Luhanska District in the Luhansk region. Moreover, we have organized visiting excursions to Kyiv and Kharkiv, where children attended museums, theaters, dolphinarium, and other educational, entertaining, and cultural places.

Nonetheless, many people do not realize that for children from the ATO zone such simple things as shelves for toys or a kids playground may be a real wonder, which will at least for sometime distract them from the horrors of war they had to suffer. That is why there’s still a lot of work to do. And we can manage it only if we will all stand shoulder to shoulder in the struggle for the future of our children.
