Disadvantaged children need help

Rape, violence, beating, hunger and indifference. This is all experienced by children who are very young, but their fate is too difficult even for adults. Family members found on the street, they go to the Help Center through social services, where they are provided with the best, professional help, create an atmosphere of comfort and work on psychological injuries. This Center becomes for the outcast child a House where spiritual wounds heal and wait for new loving parents. The Home of happy children has been operating in Kyiv for 11 years and over the years has saved more than five hundred children by curing them and giving them new families.

The center exists only thanks to benefactors and really needs help. The purpose of this project is to raise funds for the maintenance of the house, namely for payment of utilities.

The Home of happy children is a unique place where they save children who were abandoned by their parents, who were taken from their parents by alcoholics and drug addicts who simply were on the street. The center differs from other shelters, boarding schools and organizations with high results, personally developed and adapted rehabilitation forms and methods of the rehabilitation process; an individual approach to each child, taking into account their needs; family atmosphere; democratic upbringing and the priority of preparing the child for the return/placement of the child in the family. This creates an atmosphere of comfort, each child has his own bed, a beautiful and good environment for life. Here, every adult does everything to make the child happy and feel safe.

But the fact is that the City of Happy Children charitable organization is a non-profit organization and exists only through voluntary donations. Therefore, every month is a struggle for survival. It is necessary to raise funds for the nutrition of children, payment of utilities, medicines, clothing and recreation. And it is you, the benefactors, who always support us. Please help this time too! The goal of the project is to raise funds for utility bills, namely bills for water, electricity and heat, without which life is impossible! The amount payable for 2 months (May-June 2020) for water is 7000 UAH, for light – 19 800 UAH, for heat – 10 400 UAH, rent of premises – 14 600 UAH. 

Now it’s just necessary to raise funds for utility bills, as the Center may be left without the necessary communications for life. Thank you for every UAH!
