Do everything possible for Artem!

Is it possible to have a stroke to a two month old baby? It turns out that, unfortunately, it can. This is exactly what had happened six years ago to the boy Artem. This occurrence has changed the happy life of the Lisitsky family... But let’s talk about everything step by step.

Exactly sixty days the family could rejoice at the birth of the child. After the discovery of a cerebral hemorrhage, a long ordeal began. A stroke, a surgery... The two-month-old baby withstood all this and began to eat and breathe on his own within a week , and a month later he and his mother were discharged.

It would seem that everything should get better... But the trials for the child and his parents have just begun. A year later, Artem had to undergo three more brain surgeries: removal of the hematoma and expansion of the coronal suture of the skull.

And now, when the child is six years old, the situation is very sad: the boy cannot sit, walk or talk on his own. After all, the list of diagnoses is very disappointing: cerebral palsy, right-sided hemiparesis, tetraparesis, structural epilepsy, developmental delay. Just imagine the feeling of his parents!

But, in spite of this, dad and mom believe that their son will recover with all their hearts and do everything possible to improve his well-being and physical condition. During all these difficult years, they try to attend rehabilitation 4-5 times a year. And each of them brings its own positive results! Artemka has learned to hold toys, responds well to his name, has learned to drink from a straw, and his spasticity has been decreasing. However, these are difficult times, and the boy’s family, unfortunately, cannot afford rehabilitation so often, and this makes the parent’s heart bleed...
