Let's stop convulsions in newborns

On August 14, 2024, the project "Let's stop convulsions in babies" was launched on the dobro.ua website of the "UBB" BO MBF.

The purpose of the project: collection of funds for the acquisition and transfer to the balance of the Chernivtsi Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. in the neonatal intensive care unit of the neonatal cap for conducting electroencephalography in newborn children for the early diagnosis of seizures.

At the beginning of the project, they planned to collect UAH 25,410.00. During the implementation of the project, our fund received donations from other sources, as well as the supplier was able to reduce the cost of the goods, so we requested the BO MBF "UBB" to reduce the amount of the project to UAH 5,410.00. according to letter No. 09/10 dated October 9, 2024

Due to the funds collected on the platform https://dobro.ua/ and the funds collected from our own resources, our Foundation was able to purchase and transfer to the balance sheet of the above-mentioned medical institution an EEG cap. (according to transfer deed No. 4 dated October 14, 2024) in the amount of UAH 21,700.00.

This cap is an important indicator of seizure activity in newborn babies, thanks to which doctors can detect seizures in time and treat them. In this way, they not only save the baby, but also give a chance for a full future life for children who have convulsive activity.
Seizures in newborns destroy their future, and today we have the opportunity to prevent this and give babies a happy childhood and a healthy life!
