What gift from colleagues is waiting for you on March 8? The company “Winner” for the first time this year refused traditional congratulations in favor of a good deed. Instead of sweets and tulips in the hands of every woman who works at Winner, there was a magic card of goodness. Charity instead of flowers!  Thanks to this, we managed to collect the necessary amount for the purchase of sensors for a pulse oximeter of the Ivano-Frankivsk city clinical perinatal center. A pulse oximeter is a medical device that fully controls the condition of the child during nursing. It has a special sensor, joins the child and monitors how many percent of the blood is saturated with oxygen. The doctor or nurse, having such data, can adjust the percentage of oxygen that is supplied to the child, depending on the individual needs of the baby. It is also very important that premature babies often have respiratory depression (apnea). They can be physiological, due to immaturity, and pathological. This condition can be fatal, and with the help of the pulse oximeter signal, the breath hold can be recognized immediately and the necessary measures can be taken so that the child begins to breathe again. For Winner Group Ukraine, helping children and youth in distress has been one of the main areas of charity for over 20 years. And we are happy to move alongside the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace in the future for the sake of health and hope for the smallest.
