My name is Irina Gutsal, I’m a director of the Ukrainian Filantropic Marketplace, with the favorite team of “those still runners” and we decided to change the life of one little girl - Marina and give her a healthy heart. In Marina, the congenital heart defect and the girl need surgery to install a cardiac implant.The most unpleasant lesson in my childhood school was a physical education lesson. I often looked with envy at the children who were sitting on a spare bench with a "release". I honestly envied me and did not even understand my happiness.

But it was worth going out at the school door, as dislike of physical activity immediately disappeared. Bicycles, bouncers, quill, climbing on trees, fences, buildings, labyrinths of garages, jumps in length and depths in sand pits, skating, swimming in waves, jumping from high rocks and much and much more. This is my real childhood without which I can not imagine myself. And is there a strange jealousy for children with a certificate of liberation from physical education?
Already, I understand how terribly they want to, but they can not. Forever to hear - you can not run, you can not dance, you can not, you can not, can not ...

That's why I want Marina to hear the word CAN. You can have fun and run, you can dance with your friends, you can not be afraid that the heart, this little motor, suddenly breaks down and stops. In Marina, congenital heart disease. A girl often suffers from colds, feels weak, and is already forced to abandon her dreams - taking on folk dances. No operation can be done. Modern medicine does not stand still and the girl can help a minimally invasive operation to install a cardiac implant - an occluder. The operation is completely free and will be held at the Amosov Institute. It is necessary to raise money for the purchase of the implant, which costs 100 000 UAH.

As part of a fundraising marathon, we want together with the team of #those runners to collect the necessary amount. Each of us has accepted our challenge. Together, we will save the heart of Marina and overcome our running distance at Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon - 2018.
