dobro.ua has been included in the list of "100 Transparent Charitable Organisations"
The dobro.ua platform was included in the list of "100 Public Transparent Charitable Organisations of Ukraine" compiled by the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine.
The list of organisations in the Ranking was compiled using only open information sources, and the ranking of charitable organisations was based on open information about the amount of funds they used last year to implement their own charitable programmes (projects). Thus, the Top 100+ is a list of philanthropists that publicly declared the amount of their annual expenses last year in various ways, and these organisations are ranked according to the amount of these expenses.
To achieve the research objectives and search for financial information on the results of activities in 2023, a desk research was conducted of secondary available data on the activities of charitable and public organisations. We used data from open registers and lists of target organisations from Opendatabot, which provides access to government data from the main public registers, reviewed financial reports posted on the websites of charitable organisations, scientific and analytical publications on the topic, used the results of previous studies, data from the applications of the National Competition "Charitable Ukraine" (https://blagoukraine.org/) and the public rating of charitable organisations "Charity Compass of Ukraine" (https://compass.vboabu.org.ua/). Media monitoring was also carried out to check for references to the organisations in the media.
When compiling the Annual Top 100 Ranking, its developers proceeded from the fact that the current Ukrainian legislation requires non-profit organisations to submit an annual tax report, but does not force them to officially publish such information. Therefore, some philanthropists exercise this right without disclosing their financial performance to the public.
