One of your hryvnias saves a child's heart

Three newborns die every day in Ukraine due to heart disease. Every year in Ukraine about 5,500,000 children with congenital heart defects are born, among these children 600 can be saved even without a chest incision! To do this, you just need to install heart implants!

Just one hryvnia, transferred to this project, will help us save 600 children with congenital heart disease.

Congenital heart disease in our country sounds like a sentence. Especially when the amount of almost 100,000 hryvnias for a heart implant - an occluder - separates from the rescue. For an ordinary Ukrainian family, these are huge sums, sick children, grief-stricken parents.

At the National Institute. Amosov professional cardiac surgeons, who have saved thousands of hearts, have been performing free heart surgery since 2013. But without implants, they are powerless, and this year the state simply dropped the program to save children with congenital heart disease from the funding budget. Heart implants are simply not purchased. All children who need surgery in 2021 will not be able to get help and a chance at a healthy life.

This year we must save everyone. 600 children were on the border. Their parents do not know where to get money for heart implants. These are ordinary families on the brink of poverty.

That is why the dobro.ua platform, in partnership with the Heart of the Future charity foundation and all concerned, is launching the national project "Hryvnia a Day".
