Invincible Mariupol through the eyes of heroic Ukrainians

September 14 (Wednesday) at 21:30 on the air of the national telethon "United News" watch the documentary "Mariupol. Unlost Hope".

The Association of Ukrainian Producers has completed work on the documentary "Mariupol. Unlost Hope". The cinema is evidence of the Russian-Ukrainian war, through the eyes of ordinary people who lived in Mariupol for the first month of the invasion. The film is based on the diaries of the Mariupol journalist Nadezhda Sukhorukova: she wrote down what she saw around her at that time. What he saw and experienced could not but leave a heavy psychological mark on every Ukrainian.

Nadezhda Sukhorukova: "Everything that is happening now should not have happened in the 21st century. I want people to understand the absurdity of the situation and feel that thousands are dying because of the malice, cruelty and hatred of Russian infidels. It is important for me that every The crime of the Rashists was recorded, and they answered for everything".

The film "Mariupol. Unlost Hope" does not contain scary shots, does not put pressure on the viewer. Five Mariupol residents talk about their experiences of living inside the war. The psyche of every woman and child was disfigured by these events and requires psychological rehabilitation. All the necessary support for Ukrainian mothers is provided in the rehabilitation camp of the Masha Foundation, where professional psychologists, through intensive training and practice, restore peace and self-confidence to women, even if they have experienced violence or occupation. Film director Maxim Litvinov: "We don’t have a voice-over, staged shots, no narrative. This film is the truth of peaceful citizens inside the war. They tell simply and without fear that they saw, how they felt what happened to them. Imagine, several weeks passed systemic destruction of a city of half a million and these people were inside it.We deliberately did not put scary shots, although we had them, because we did not want emotional forcing. The main character Nadya is an ordinary peaceful person who hated no one, and the film reflects this intonation.Mariupol anyone can look and experience, find out how it was there".

Producer of the film, OUP co-founder Vladimir Borodyansky: "The film brings sharpness on the border between good and evil. It is about the life of ordinary people in the city, destroying the war. There is a miracle of birth under bombs. There is the expectation of the worst in the basement of the Philharmonic. There is a shock from understanding the scale of barbarism , the pain of loss and the search for strength to live on. And most importantly, it has the power to withstand circumstances that, it would seem, should destroy to the ground".

Together to win!
