Become a magician for the children of the dead Heroes
On December 1, the New Year's SOCAR project will start together with the charity platform dobro.ua and the "Children of Heroes" foundation. As part of the initiative, funds will be collected for gifts to children who have lost their parents.
It is very easy to become a magician and fulfill the New Year's wishes of Ukrainian children – it is enough to purchase a special postcard with the image of children's drawings at the SOCAR gas station. You can keep it as a memory, or you can write warm New Year's wishes to the child and put it in the box. SOCAR is guaranteed to deliver your greeting to the addressee. Users of the Level application can also join the project by making a charitable contribution using the mobile application or on the dobro.ua platform.
"Yes, we will never be able to return the closest people to the children... But we can give the children a Christmas spirit and give them a treasured gift from St. Nicholas. We are very grateful to our partners for the opportunity to bring a New Year's fairy tale to life for young Ukrainians," says Olena Osypchuk, PR director of SOCAR Energy Ukraine.
"Ukrainians must remember everyone who defends Ukraine. These people are real heroes of our time, and the children of heroes now need the warmth and support that their parents gave them. Let's support the little ones," says Iryna Gutsal, director of dobro.ua.
"Unfortunately, many children are now deprived of parental care. Therefore, in this difficult time, we want to become magicians for our wards on St. Nicholas Day, giving our warmth and care," said Anna Khomenko, the head of the assistance department of the UCF Children of Heroes.
Twenty hryvnias from the cost of each postcard and funds collected through the Level application will be sent to purchase gifts. Each of the children will receive a personal gift – exactly the one that the child imagined and drew.
