Thousands of saved lives of defenders in exchange for a Porsche
Saving the lives of our defenders is worth everything! That's what Maksym Bakhmatov, the head of the NGO Transformation Office, decided and raffled off his own Porsche car for a donation!
The dobro.ua platform and Tata Kepler's Birds project were happy to become partners in the fundraising to provide tactical medicine for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, doctors and nurses who work and save lives in the field!
‘I am exchanging my own car and comfort for the real lives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. I am not an oligarch and I do not have many cars. I am a normal person. I work hard. I have one car. I don't know if I'm over the midlife crisis, but I'm ready to give Porsche as a gift. It's important for me to tell my grandchildren this story after the victory. Grandpa raffled off the Porsche to help the Armed Forces. That's great! I'm doing a transparent collection, so all the reports are on dobro.ua,’ Bakhmatov said at the beginning of the collection.
At the end of the training camp, Maxim Bakhmatov said: ‘Why am I doing this? Because when the war is over, everyone will be great. Everyone will remember who did what during the war, and Maxim Isanovich will remember that he once had a Porsche, he gave it away and saved five thousand people together with dobro.ua and the Birds. And these feelings, you can never buy them for anything.’
We managed to raise UAH 5 400 000 for tactical medicine for the defenders of Ukraine!
In total, Maxim Bakhmatov's charity drive lasted 173 days and raised UAH 6,700,000. Part of the amount raised was used to pay taxes on car donations, duties and taxes, and to support the activities of the Transformation Office NGO.
