Support that changes lives - of the military, children with disabilities, the elderly and civilians learning to save lives in war. Together with you, we are creating a world where everyone can get help, support and a chance for a better future. And our news about the projects we have implemented is another testament to this.

Project ‘Let's Help a Veteran with a Triple Amputation’, Gromadyanyn Charity Foundation.

In the battle, Oleksandr was seriously injured in the arms and legs. His comrades put up crutches, but due to mortar fire, the evacuation took several hours. He spent four months in intensive care, one and a half of them in a coma: he survived two cardiac arrests, a stroke, the failure of both kidneys and the amputation of two arms and his right leg.

The fundraising for a Meyra iChair MC2 wheelchair worth UAH 557 thousand was closed in less than a month.

In July, after Oleksandr's return from rehabilitation, the Citizen Foundation handed it over to the defender. The chair is safe and stable, and most importantly, it allows for head and joystick control. These options after the upper limb prosthetics will allow the defender to feel independent and mobile not only indoors but also outdoors. There is a lot of work ahead. Doctors, rehabilitators, prosthetists and Oleksandr himself are making incredible efforts, as he has two students and a household waiting for him at home.

Project ‘Support inclusive education for children’, CF "BGV" CO.

Thanks to the project ‘Support inclusive education for children’, we managed to raise 40 thousand hryvnias for children with special needs who have coordination disorders.

On 12 June, the BGV Charitable Foundation donated sets of speech therapy boxes to improve the pronunciation of sounds, weighted vests and gloves for writing, sets for the development of fine motor skills, etc. The Inclusive Resource Centre in Olevsk is the only one in 33 settlements where children are professionally taught.

Project ‘Renting a vehicle to help the elderly’, CO "Let's Help".

Let's Help is currently running 122 geriatric institutions in 14 regions of Ukraine. Our benefactors raised UAH 157 thousand for transport costs to ensure that warm clothes, personal care products, equipment and gifts for the holidays reach the wards of the foundation in a timely manner.

With the help of the car, the foundation was also able to implement another charity initiative, GIVE GIFTED GOGGLES. Many elderly people have poor eyesight, but cannot afford to go to the city for an examination and to get glasses. As part of the initiative, elderly people in 8 geriatric institutions in Kyiv have their eyes checked and receive new glasses.

Project ‘Learn to save lives with us! ’, CF "IMIF" CI.

Tactical first aid skills are essential not only for the military but also for civilians in times of war. They can save lives. How to help victims in cases of massive bleeding, thermal burns, and loss of consciousness? How to apply a tourniquet, use a defibrillator and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation? These and many other things were taught during the first aid training.

For the training, 35 haemostatic tourniquets and 10 COR-Kit tactical kits adapted to the algorithm of first aid in combat were purchased. The training has trained 50 participants who now have first aid skills and can save lives in a critical situation.

Project ‘Let's feed animals in border shelters! ’, Charitable Foundation ‘Happy Paw’.

A well-fed animal is a happy animal. In July, the second part of the project was implemented.  The Happy Paw Charitable Foundation purchased 72 bags (780 kg) of food for four-legged animals for shelters in Kharkiv, Sumy and Rivne region. In total, the project provided more than 2,460 kg of food to the animals, which is their ration for a week. Thank you for helping to provide shelters with food and making the animals happy.

We thank you for your support and invite you to continue this path of good deeds with us!
