Hi, my name is Vladimir Buzovsky. I am a cardiac surgeon, head of the department of cardiovascular surgery at the Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. In my professional practice, I am engaged in the correction of congenital heart defects in children. I am a father of two children. I am happy to have a son and a daughter. Like every father of my child, I try to keep them healthy and happy. Children is our future. This is what we live for and what will remain after us. As for me, children are the most important thing that can be in our life.
It so happened that in the family I am a father, and at work I am a pediatric cardiac surgeon. My professional duty is to correct, correct a congenital heart disease and give the child a chance for a full life. Fortunately, medicine is developing rapidly and a fairly large volume of surgical interventions at the moment can be performed without tissue incision, by puncture of the main vessel (more often it is the femoral vein or artery). Such operations are called low-invasive or endovascular X-ray. In order to perform them efficiently and safely, both for the child and for the health worker, special X-ray protective equipment is used.
