Veronica is only 4 years old, but every day she overcomes challenges that most children don’t even notice. Because of Rett syndrome, she has difficulty moving, communicating, concentrating, and interacting with the world around her.
Despite all the difficulties, Veronica loves listening to music, holding her mom’s hand, and watching people closely. She tries to explore the world in her own way, and every little success of hers brings great joy to her family.
For children with Rett syndrome, time is of the essence. It is regular rehabilitation and work with specialists that help preserve and develop skills, maintain emotional well-being, and open up new opportunities for growth.
