Dacha is a unique center created for providing little patients undergoing treatment at the Cancer Institute with temporary accommodation. Most families who come to the Institute face not only the need for huge amounts of money for the child’s treatment but also the lack of a place for rehabilitation and for living between cycles of chemotherapy. It is the Dacha Center that provides such support to families from all over Ukraine. The peculiarity of the Center is an opportunity for children to live with their family members for free while the treatment continues, and the recovery process is underway.
In some cases, families remain at the Dacha for 2-3 years.
This Center exists thanks to the financial support of companies, volunteers, ordinary people who make donations for the house maintenance. Unfortunately, the cost of utilities is constantly increasing, and the maintenance gets more expensive.
Therefore, the Gelius Brand is launching a charity fundraiser until the end of November to help the Dacha Center.
Now five children with their parents live at the Dacha. Misha, Yuliana, Tolia, Slava and Masha, aged just 1.5 years old, the youngest Dacha kid.
