Our Foundation provided the 1st inhaler
For the treatment of cystic fibrosis, 14-year-old Kristina from Zakarpattya region needs to do 5 inhalations with medicines every day.
Without inhalations - the threat of suffocating, pneumonia and hospitalization. Ordinary inhalers cannot withstand such an intesity - they can be out of order in half a year. Therefore, patients with cystic fibrosis need special inhalers with a powerful compressor which are more expensive. But, unfortunately, they also have a limited resource. This is exactly what happened with Christina's inhaler - at the beginning of September it broke. And the girl's mother, Angela, applied to us for help to urgently purchase a new device.
Thanks to the charitable funds received for our project, we were able to quickly purchase and already donate an inhaler for Christina. On behalf of our Foundation and the girl's family, we sincerely thank everyone for the support!
And we are also very worried that in the future we will not face such urgent situations with the purchase of inhalers for patients with cystic fibrosis.
Therefore, we ask you to support our project further on, so we can help orphan patients in time and provide their crucial needs in life-saving medical equipment.
