Sashko is going through a difficult time right now. Frequent cramps caused by the constant heat are causing him discomfort and anxiety. On top of that, he’s facing a host of other problems that keep cropping up one after another. He was recently discharged from the hospital and is now at home. Although his condition has stabilized, it remains serious.
The boy is trying to cope with changes in his circadian rhythm—his day and night are reversed: he doesn’t sleep at night and tries to rest during the day. Caring for him requires his mother’s constant attention and effort. Every day, she takes care of him: she feeds and gives him water regularly, following a strict schedule.
