Since childhood, 11-year-old Yaroslav has been living with a complex orphan genetic disease, tuberous sclerosis. This severe hereditary disease contributes to the emergence of benign tumors in the child's body. The boy has a severe course – the tumors affect almost all his organs, including the brain. Yaroslav's central nervous system is affected, and he is constantly suffering from seizures.
Doctors have long ago selected the necessary set of medications for Yaroslav to reduce the number of seizures. The result of the treatment is good – the number of seizures has significantly decreased. The boy feels emotions, can be happy, recognizes his parents. This may seem insignificant, but for Yaroslav it is a great progress. The severe form of his disease requires constant medication, examinations and consultations with a neurosurgeon. All this costs a lot of money.
This financial burden is unbearable for Yaroslav's parents. The mother is constantly chained to her son and is unable to work. His father is an ambulance driver. Without charitable contributions, his treatment becomes impossible. The mother is powerless and even losing hope, but we can support them in these difficult times and help with their son's treatment.
