17 long years. This is the way to the recovery of Artem Korolkov from the Dnipropetrovsk region. He is the only son whose appearance parents have waited for 13 long years. However, during the birth, something went wrong, the boy did not scream.

17 long years. This is the way to the recovery of Artem Korolkov from the Dnipropetrovsk region. He is the only son whose appearance parents have waited for 13 long years. However, during the birth, something went wrong, the boy did not scream.

Artem was diagnosed cerebral edema, bilateral pneumonia, he had constant convulsions. Also, the boy found cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, microcephaly, and epilepsy. The doctors did not give any guarantees that he would survive. However, Artem survived, he was discharged from the neonatal center. Until that day the boy began a long and hard struggle with the disease. These are massages, exercises, exercise equipment and exercises. During this time, the guy went through a lot of rehabilitation courses all over the country, he was given 2 surgeries by the method of Ulzibat, he tested almost all existing techniques for restoring severe forms of cerebral palsy.

Now Artem almost defeated epilepsy, he learned to eat with a spoon (although up to 12 years he ate almost all of the nipples, he had big problems with swallowing). He learned to walk with the help of walkers and with support and to sit on his own, and most importantly – after the course of Tomatis therapy the guy said his first words! What a huge miracle it was: a child with a severely damaged intellect began to speak!

17 long years the family is fighting for a healthy life of Artem. It's hard to imagine how much effort and money has already been spent. However, now they cannot interrupt the treatment, the guy needs to go to the Center of Brain Stimulation for a new course of rehabilitation.
