4-year-old Sofia needs help

Sofiika Mochalova from the city of Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region. Just recently, like all children of her age, she has gone to the kindergarten. Nothing foreshadowed trouble. A baby suddenly fell ill in early June. at first, a swelling appeared in the supraclavicular region on the right. A few days later the temperature rose to 38°C, the swelling increased and reddened. The troubled mother went to the hospital and Sofia was hospitalized in the surgical department. An ultrasound of the soft woven neck revealed enlarged lymph nodes.

Doctors suspected lymphoma. For further examination and treatment, the baby was transferred to the onco-hematological department. CT, biopsy of the supraclavicular lymph node, puncture of the pleural fluid... and painful waiting for the results... The child was put terrible diagnose – lymphoma. Considering the results of examinations and the activity of the tumor process, to Sofiyka was prescribed the polychemotherapy. 

The girl is undergoing treatment in the hematology unit of the Mykolaiv regional hospital. It is difficult for a child to recover. The baby gets tired of hospitals, doctors, tests and examinations... Here is a girl's childhood. Instead of toys – a dropper... She courageously struggles with a serious illness and wants to go home.

Now for Sofiika is scheduled for next chemotherapy block. Treatment for which funds are needed. And the parents have not money. And it is impossible Sofiia to be without treatment. The girl needs the drug Dexamethasone (2 packages) and antibiotic Meronem (20 vials) for a total amount of 11 674 UAH. This amount is large for parents of the child.
