5-year-old Oleksiy needs help

A little boy sits in a playroom of the Pediatric Clinic of Neurosurgery. Little Alyosha shows his Mercedes toy car with two suitcases in the back seat. “They go to the seaside…” says the boy. “Who are they?” – “Me and my mom.” Little Alyosha is scared and sad. He doesn’t understand what he is doing here. He really wants to go home. But he has a surgery ahead and many days of treatment. The mother brings Alyosha up alone, and she has no money for medicines on which depends the life of her only son. Let us help Alyosha recover faster!

Alyosha’s life “before hospital” had no difference from his peers. He went to the kindergarten, liked to play with toy cars, board games and adored fairy tales. From time to rime he had a headache. The mother referred to the neurologist and Alyosha was prescribed an examination. The diagnosis was a shock. The boy who seemed to be healthy and cheerful had a terrible diagnosis: a large neoplasm in the right half of the cerebellum. Thus, a little patient moved to the Institute of Neurosurgery. Here he was operated on. His motherhad to buy medicines and medical supplies for the surgery. And in a postoperative period he still needs a lot of medicines. The mother is in despair because he cannot buy everything she needs. She is single and the boy’s father doesn’t want to know about the disease of his son. She asks for help.

“My son is my love, my support, my life... Today his life depends on a package of medicines: if I am able to bring them in time or not, if I am able to buy everything that is necessary or not. I beg for help, I ask for mercy, I want so much to make my boy healthy!”
