Times flies fast, so fast that we did not even notice the seven years that passed and Alina has become a first-grade school-girl! She studies well, she is very industrious, already can read and write, wheras the math teacher can't stop complimenting our girl! And she herself is very delighted with the school, every day she communicates with children, playing games, painting, rejoicing! Because she did not go to kindergarten, and was not able to have so many friends. But it is a pity to look in her eyes when all the kids run out into the corridor and Alinka is left alone. She can not run after them - she is pinned by a disease - cerebral palsy, which has to be fought with by permanent and continuous treatment courses of rehabilitation.
When she sits at a desk children ask why she does not get up, why she does not walk, - Alinka says nothing, she hesitates that she is not like everyone. But children do not cease to amaze! One day, a classmate came to Alinka, saying: "Come on, I'll teach you to go! It is very easy!". And I, as a mother and an adult, would like to have such a miracle for my child, so that he took her hand and really taught her to walk!!!
From her very birth Alina knows that things don't come easy. She was born prematurely with the weight of 1459 grams. Then she was in reanimation, then long months of treatment. And so we are engaged in rehabilitation, and very slowly go from birth to the goal, because we all know that cerebral palsy can not be cured quickly. First Alina learned to crawl, then to sit down. Only now, when she is in her age of seven, she is learning to walk with the walkers, and we are hoping that she will be able to walk on her own in some time and to fully take care of herself.
It is difficult to be helpless when even going to the toilet without help is a problem. It is very difficult financially to constantly go to rehabilitations, but thanks God there are people who are helping! We are hoping that in the future we will not stay one-on-one with this disease and that the miracle will happen- Alina will learn to walk!
