Together - faster, more accurate, better.

In December 2023, a new emergency and trauma department was opened at the Children's City Clinical Hospital No. 3 in Odesa. A new emergency, urgent and trauma care department was opened in Odesa. This is the only pediatric surgery in the city that receives children with injuries, acute conditions and complications requiring urgent surgery every day.

In just 10 months of 2024, the department helped more than 1200 children, 624 of whom went through the operating table. However, in order for doctors to help safely, accurately, and efficiently, they need the right tools. Scissors, clamps, tweezers, and retractors are basic but critical tools that make it impossible to perform surgical interventions quickly, accurately, and without unnecessary trauma.

It is especially important to have high-quality equipment for young patients - every millimeter counts in pediatric surgery.

Thanks to the charitable support of FOR FRIENDS, in July 2025, the hospital will receive modern surgical instruments necessary for the operation of the renovated department.
This will allow for surgeries to be performed without delay, reduce pain, speed up patient recovery, and give thousands of children a chance for a healthy childhood.

We sincerely thank FOR FRIENDS for supporting the development of pediatric medicine in Ukraine together with us!
