Kurazh, July 2025: Vidchui Foundation “Birds”

This summer, on July 12 and 13, Kurazh returns — right in the heart of the season, when the sun is warmest, the ice cream is the tastiest, and the desire to simply be together is the strongest. 

This time, we decided not to come up with a theme, because Kurazh itself is the theme. No extra reasons, no pomp — just about us, about summer, about the kind of weekends you want to remember.

Once again, we’re gathering at VDNG, in the KIT pavilion, to host a real summer picnic: with music, food, ice cream, tattoos, chess, a flea market, children’s activities, portraits, and all the simple joys you love Kurazh for. This time, we’re also celebrating a very special birthday — the birthday of the very idea of Kurazh, a space where everyone can be themselves.

And, as always, Kurazh has an important goal — a charitable one. This time, we are raising funds for the Vidchui Foundation’s “Birds” project, namely for the renovation of inclusive sanitary facilities in a military hospital in Kyiv. After injury, even the simplest everyday things — like using the bathroom or taking a shower — become a challenge. We want to make these spaces comfortable for every servicemember undergoing treatment.

The new restrooms will be completely rebuilt with the needs of wheelchair users in mind: with wide doorways, no thresholds, special handrails, support bars, lowered toilets and sinks. All work will be carried out according to state building codes for inclusivity.

The event’s partner is Visa. Buy a ticket with a Visa card, and Visa will donate 100 UAH toward the charitable goal.
