Fate was not very favorable to Andrii. In 2009, his parents were deprived of parental rights, and at the age of 3, the boy and his younger sister were left alone. Without housing and any property. His uncle took on the responsibility of providing for and raising his nephews, and a few years later he became their official guardian.

We already helped Andrii Molchan at the end of 2021, when thanks to you we managed to raise funds for his first ophthalmic surgery. It was successful, and one of Andrii's eyes has already been cured. When it was time to restore the guy's sight completely, a full-scale war broke out. The operation on the second eye was scheduled for March 12, 2022, but it did not happen. On February 25, Andrii and his family were evacuated to the western part of Ukraine. They stayed there until June: shelter, rocket attacks, everything like everyone else. His uncle, who is Andrii's guardian, has been serving in the Armed Forces since the beginning of the war.

Andrii was constantly complaining that everyone was at war and he was "hiding". After returning to Kyiv, he constantly visited the terrorist defense posts, and then was sent to a medical examination at the military enlistment office. But because of his poor eyesight, Andriy has problems with the medical commission. There is hope for an operation, the guy agrees to be a signalman instead of a tanker. He hopes for our help with the surgery and full restoration of his eyesight. Andrii is confident that after his recovery he will be able to help his Ukraine!
