"Angels exist, and they have wings...", these were the words Andrii told his mother when he returned to life. At night on April 29, 2018, there was a car accident in Seredniofontanska Str. in Odessa city in which an "Infinity" driver hit a pedestrian. Later it became clear that the woman and her friend were returning from a night club and they were drunk. They ran over a young man and then crashed against the wall. Both women died. Since that time Andrii’s life changed ones and for all. The young man was delivered to the intensive care unit of the city hospital in an extremely critical condition having many injuries. Doctors simply assembled Andrii piece by piece. The guy had an open penetrating craniocerebral trauma, multi fragmental skull fracture, lower jaw fracture, fracture of five ribs, contused lungs and chest.

On August 10, 2018, Andrii was discharged from the hospital. The discharge diagnosis was as follows: a patient is not able to move independently, incapable of work, requires constant care and tube feeding. A disability category was given to the young man. However, challenges did not finish with the discharge from the hospital. One month later he was delivered to the hospital again where he was urgently operated on due to the right lung abscess. After three months had passed, doctors recommended starting rehabilitation. However, his condition was still critical and only Nodus Rehabilitation Center agreed to accept Andrii.

Only the rehabilitation center "Nodus" agreed to take Andrei. A lot of work was done by the doctors, operations were carried out, the postoperative treatment took a lot of time. 7 months in the center brought good results – Andrii can sit with support, eat and swallow independently, talk a little, move his right hand. But it’s very important for a guy not to stop and continue treatment. The next rehabilitation will take place in the center of "Wernygora" (Modrychi village). During Andrii's treatment at the Nodus Center, at the request of the family, we were asked to pay the bill, so we allocated funds from our own account. Financially the family is in critical condition, there is no way for them to pay for rehabilitation, but relatives do not have a moral right to stop the healing process, they cannot take away an Andrii's chance to be healthy!

Support Andrey, please!
