Andrii Yaroshevskyi continues his struggle for recovery, for the chance to live just like before that horrible accident when he was hit on the pedestrian way by Infinity car. Drunk women returned from the night club and were driving very fast along Seredniofontanska Str. in Odesa. The woman failed to control the car and hit against a metal collision protector on the left along the way, the impact strength turned the car and it was thrown to the right-side pedestrian way directly at the pedestrian. Both the driver and the passenger were killed on impact. Andrii went along the usual way for the night shift to the railway station where he worked. Everything happened very fast, within seconds, and a strong, healthy young man turned into group 1 A disability man in no time.

Andrii was delivered to the intensive care unit of the city hospital in critical condition with multiple injuries. Doctors simply assembled Andrii piece by piece. He had an open penetrating craniocerebral trauma, multifragmental skull fracture, lower jaw fracture, fracture of five ribs, contused lungs and chest. Even after nine months after the accident he remained in critical condition. From February 2019 till September 2019 Andrii has a surgery and rehabilitation treatment at Nodus Clinic. And then another 4 months of rehabilitation treatment at Vernyhora Center in Modrychi village. His condition improved greatly. As a result of the received treatment, Andrii can sit with a support, eat and swallow by himself, speak a little, move his right hand, shows emotions to jokes.

Now Andrii requires a complex diagnostics of his condition and a shunt functionality analysis. Since the shunt was placed at Nodus Clinic, he needs to go there for examination. The examination cost comprises 27,040.00 UAH. For almost two years of the son’s treatment, the family budget is exhausted. In addition, two months before the accident, after twelve courses of chemotherapy, Andrei's stepfather, Ivan, died of oncology, who raised him since he was 9 years old. Mother did not have time to dry her tears and calm her heart out of grief when the trouble with Andrew occurred. Andrii’s mother Lyubov, is doing her best to save her son. But money is sorely lacking. We ask you to support Andrii in this unequal struggle for recovery, in which a lot depends on financial possibilities. Help the family, please!
