Anna needs support in treatment

This year Anna turned 11 years old. She grew up to be an incredibly beautiful and active girl. She is friendly and sincere in her smile. But 8 months ago, she heard rockets being shot down. It was the first time she heard such an explosion in her life! The stress she experienced during the explosion became a catalyst for a terrible illness. After a while, Anna began to lose weight and gain height. Later, she started drinking a lot and developed insomnia.

When her parents took a blood sugar test, they were shocked. Anna's sugar level was 23.6 out of 5.5 of the permissible norm. The girl was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit. Those terrible days will never be forgotten. Anna underwent many tests and injections. Her condition was terrible: she had no strength to get up or eat. At that time, she weighed 28 kg and was 152 cm tall.

Later, the doctors told her that now the family's life would change completely, because Anna is an insulin-dependent child with type 1 diabetes.

Anna and her mother learned how to inject insulin, changed it, learned how to count food, and underwent many tests and ultrasounds.

“Almost all of these procedures are performed in private hospitals. Accordingly, it took a lot of money. To say it was hard would be an understatement! We began to meet other children with the same diagnosis and were told about the benefits of using sensors. After all, they are the means to monitor our child's life around the clock!", says the mother.

Anna is not the only child in the family. The parents are no longer able to cope with all the expenses that treatment needs, including sensors, entail. Anna's mother believes that her daughter can have a life like her peers! But for this she needs a lot of effort and your support!
