Anna is a kind, sincere, and cheerful girl. She loves taking photos and going out with friends, and after school she enjoys cycling. But Ania cannot afford to live an ordinary life like the rest of her friends, as she must monitor her blood sugar around the clock, keep track of timely and proper meals, and carefully plan her time for rest and activity.
For almost two years, Aniuta has been living with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, which was likely caused by severe stress experienced during explosions from intercepted rockets. Over this time, she and her mother have learned to manage diabetes together. But Ania's body, especially now during adolescence, is prone to frequent hypoglycemic episodes that the girl simply does not feel. A state of low blood sugar can lead to a coma. That is why Ania needs continuous glucose monitoring. Sensors help track glucose levels without constant finger pricks and allow timely responses to sudden changes, preventing critical episodes from occurring.
Let's help provide Ania with the continuous monitoring sensors she needs for peace of mind day and night! We ask for your support for a child who fights type 1 diabetes every day. Every day for her is monitoring, fear of dangerous blood sugar fluctuations, and a constant struggle for stable health.
