Anna can hear fully

Eleven-year-old Anna is a lively and active girl who has a disease that prevents her from hearing in one ear. Anya has a chronic right-sided sensorineural hearing loss of grade 3. Aniuta studies with “excellent” grades, sometimes participates in school competitions and contests, and loves to sing. But when talking, she turns to the interlocutor with her left ear.

In kindergarten and elementary school, the girl was sick a lot. The soreness seemed to disappear over time, but in August 2023, Anna confessed to her parents that she could not hear in her right ear. Confused, the parents turned to doctors, who recommended that the girl undergo an examination and take tests. As a result, the girl was diagnosed with two viruses that were in her saliva and entered her bloodstream due to her weakened immune system. The viruses “triggered” the autoimmune process, they feed on the membrane of the nervous system and complicate the body's work. Because of this, the nerve was damaged, and the child lost hearing in her right ear.

Anna did not go to school for a year; in the fourth grade, she was home-schooled, according to doctors' recommendations, because she was very weak, and any cold would cause even more damage and complicate treatment. The child was bothered by frequent and loud squeaking in her ears and head. Anna was treated by a neurologist, virologist, and immunologist. The girl is still undergoing treatment and osteopathy sessions to this day.

Doctors strongly recommend that Anna wear a hearing aid. The girl needs to relieve the nervous system and her healthy left ear, and most importantly, to prevent hearing loss in the healthy ear due to constant stress. Currently, there is a squeak in Ania's head and ears, but it is not frequent and not loud. The viruses have been gone for a year, and doctors are now fighting their consequences.

One of the parents works in the family. The money he earns is enough for the girl's current treatment, but the parents are no longer able to save money to buy a hearing aid for Ania. Her mother asks for help in purchasing a hearing aid so that Anna can hear all the sounds of life to the fullest.
